Agra to Jaipur
Rather than take the train, we opted to take the taxi to Jaipur. Ian talked the hotel into giving us free breakfast, so we ate quickly and met the driver for 8:00am. He drove us first to Fatehpur Sikri, where we toured the 'ghost city'. The palace was quite impressive, as was the mosque. However, the mosque tested our patience as everyone asked for money or was trying to sell us items we didn't need or want. By this time I had become quite overwhelmed with the number of people constantly coming up to us. We then drove on for many hours until we reached Jaipur. The city was neat as the old city was separated from the new city by ancient walls and gates, however the traffic was incredible! We finally found our hotel (Meghniwas), which was simple and clean, but best of all had a pool and restaurant which meant that we didn't have to venture out into the busy city again!
