Leh to Delhi - DAY 3

0900: It is so nice to sleep in!
1000: We enquire about the buses to Shimla and Delhi. The Shimla bus would have left the next day or we could jump on the Delhi bus at 1530. 14 hours on the bus. No problem after what we've gone through. Wrong!
1100: Breakfast at Chopsticks. Steph had vegetable noodle soup with a sprinkle of human hair. I had an egg sandwhich which I forgot to ask to be toasted.
1200: We walk around Manali, checked out the local stores, and walked through the beautiful Deodara (similar to Cedar) forest reserve. We had a cute street dog follow us the whole time.
1400: Lunch at Chopsticks.
1500: Walk to the bus station.
1530: We are suppose to depart.
1600: We depart. The "semi-deluxe" bus is not very pleasant but we are looking forward to going back to Delhi.
1900: We've only travelled approx. 100 km. This is not a good sign. (We have already stopped to let multiple locals on and off, and even stopped for the driver to buy a box of apples...great!)
2100: It seems that only the shortest/smalles locals like to recline their seats completely back. Of course the guy infront of me is one of them and add to that, his seat has mechanical problems so that when fully reclined it's on my lap! No matter though, no consideration for me! I have to push his seat up and lecture him a couple of times!
2359: . . . still on the bus.
