Nubra Valley (Sumur to Leh)

We left for our drive back to Leh around 9:00am. We couldn't leave any earlier because the army had closed the road the day before for 'cleaning'. The army convoys made our trip back up the pass quite slow, but it was a quick ride down the other side. We spent the afternoon organizing our way to Manali, and ate dinner at Il Forno for the last time. We had eaten at Il Forno many times because they seemed to be the only restaurant in Leh that could get our order correct and at the same time. We went to sleep by 10 because we had to get up at 4:00am to catch our bus the next morning.
